5th annual 100 waves for recovery

Join us for our fifth annual summer-long fundraiser!

Together, we can save lives, create real change, and support individuals in their recovery journey.

Whether you’re surfing your local break, watching the waves, or simply reflecting on the joy surfing brings β€” your participation makes a positive difference.

This summer, help us reach our goal of raising $50,000!

πŸ’™ 100% of proceeds directly benefit our programs, helping us provide life-saving support, peer connection, and essential resources to individuals and families affected by addiction.

πŸ‘₯ Gather your friends, family, or coworkers and form a fundraising team β€” or ride solo in honor of someone you love. Every effort counts.

🎁 As a thank-you, every participant who raises $100 or more will receive a free limited-edition t-shirt to celebrate their impact and commitment to our cause.

Together, we can fuel healing, connection, and hope β€” one wave at a time.

NOT A SURFER? Not a problem.

Everyone is welcome to hang ten…or hang at the beach. And you don't have to be here to participate!

πŸ’œ A Moment that Matters: Overdose Awareness Day Ceremony & Paddle Out

Each year, International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) β€” observed on August 31 β€” unites communities around the world to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and remember the lives lost to overdose. It’s a day to honor the humanity behind the headlines, and to stand in solidarity with the millions of families and individuals impacted by substance use loss.

At 100 Waves Beach Day, our paddle out and remembrance ceremony is a deeply meaningful part of the experience. It’s a space for healing, reflection, and community.

Here’s what to expect:

  • 2:30 PM β€” We’ll gather on the sand for a brief reflection and moment of silence.

  • Surfers and paddlers will head out past the break to form a floating circle.

  • Together, we’ll hold space for names, memories, and hope β€” in stillness and in connection.

  • Those on shore are warmly encouraged to participate in your own way β€” through quiet reflection, a personal ritual, or simply by holding space for others.

Whether you are remembering someone you love, standing in support of others, or showing up for the first time, your presence speaks volumes. This ceremony is a powerful local tribute β€” one that reminds us: no one is alone, and every life matters.
